#Haiku05 : SunSet.
All things must pass!
Isn't it a common misconception to ascertain every moment as if it is meant to stay or last forever.
During the creation of our own personal reality, we often cling on to several passing scenes of this grand motion picture, we are mere characters of.
Instead of observing every passing phase with our empathy, happiness, love and kindness, we have a tendency to crib.
Sadness grips us, if the outcomes of any event deviate from our pre-conceived notions, causing pain and distress to us and those around.
We must strive to observe and perceive everything as per their inherited qualities (guna). This is called darshan.
There is harmony in the nature (prakriti) around us. Everything seems to follow a perfect pattern - a pre-designed blueprint.
No object of nature tries to overrun the rules laid for its existence. As if every design understands its meaning and purpose of existence. The waves of the mighty ocean never go bored hitting the shorelines, neither the fishes motioning in its deepest laps complain of being wet all the time!
The sun doesn't refuse to set down, neither does the moon deny to enchant the waves to dance all through the night.
All animals and plant response at the first crack of dawn, embracing inactivity and hibernation when the sun sets. Even the smallest of actions taking place finds a purpose and divine way of manifestation.
There seems to be no coercion between any activity in nature. Only divine love and freedom. All fulfill their purpose without friction, and return to the source when it is time!
Isn't time just another concept?
My love for sunsets intensifies when I am close to the shorelines of majestic water bodies.
Goa is one of my favorite spots to bask in the beautiful views offered by the skyline during the sunset. With waves creating a perfect background score, cold wind trying to pierce your wet body, water gently kissing your feet as you walk across the perfect painting in awe of nature.
Spectacular panoramic views can be expected if you are lucky. The clouds never miss to surprise you.
During such moments of deeper appreciation nature's beauty, you realise yourself to be another speck of the divine creation.
Brimming with a sense of gratitude, you dive deeper within.
Introspection brings greater possibilities of appreciation, especially when your heart is overwhelming with gratitude. You stare at the endless sky above and ocean below. Shades of blue and red filling the perfect canvas you witness.
You feel alive!
Breathing in the beauty, you promise to strive to be a beautiful soul. To let go of all those meaningless strings of ego-based misconduct that prevent you to vibrate in his divine ecstasy.
Basking in this beautiful moment, being out of breath at this breathtaking scenery, you murmur pledges to your heart.
This haiku is a dedication to such oath-taking realisations.
