[FridayFrame] Invoke the Guru within.

“Turn off your mind, relax and float down stream..”

The shoreline echoed in his ears. Each deep breath filled his lungs with the freshness of pristine surrounding.

The rustic bridge overlooking the crimson skyline laid a perfect setting for their daily séance.

He assumed the lotus position and gently closed his eyes.

With each passing wave, his body resonated at a higher frequency.
The Guru smiled at his disciple’s allegiance. Now repeat after me.

Several moments later, He submerged into the vast ocean of consciousness.

Five ways NOT to celebrate Holi.

"Black then white are all I see in my infancy.
red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.
lets me see there is so much more
and beckons me to look through
to these infinite possibilities."

Over 80,000 attendants at the 2013 Festival of Colors
At Sri Radha Krishna Temple, Spanish Fork, Utah, United States

Smiling faces smeared in a pallet of colors; an amalgamation of men, women, and children in the euphoric outburst of floating colors; an overdose of sweets and delicacies; loud blaring music systems playing classic dance anthems and finally the happy forgiving embraces!

Holi, the grand festival of color invites you to take a dip in festive fervor and celebration - to experience how a drop of color can give meaning to the empty canvas of our lives.

The ability to give meaning lies with our own ability of imagination.

* * *

Holi is perhaps one of the least religious of all Hindu festivals.
It is widely marked and celebrated all over India, originally, observed as an agricultural festival, marking the onset of Spring season.

Holi is surrounded by many History and Rituals, but for most Hindus, Holi has become another opportunity to ignore the societal norms, disregard the essence of the festival and instead bask in callous merry-making; in general to "let loose".

So, while Holi is round the corner, here is a quick list capturing

Five ways NOT to celebrate Holi this year:

1. Water-Water Everywhere: India is a country where we give more weight to tradition, religion and rituals over logic, consciousness and wisdom.
While no religious books or manuscripts have mentioned pumping gallons of water on a single day just to get your neighbor or friends wet, we have devised this obnoxious practice of wasting water in the name of celebration. There can and are other genuine ways of celebrating the festival of colors, without wasting an already depleting natural resource.
A gentle reminder and request to ring in your ears while you dip yourselves into the pool of water and shout Holi Hai! (It is Holi): refrain from wasting water.

Let us decide consciously and for once,
chose awareness over stupidity.

2. Rang Barse! Alcohol Nahi: Think about it - Amidst the cheerful celebration, overflowing colors, and the ecstatic waves of laughter, we indulge in intoxication
We desire to overdo, overdose at all moments. The want of doing more and experience something different and crazier than that is occurring around, attracts several dry mouths towards the poisonous alcohol - that which snatches away the sanctity of the auspicious day.
Sure, Krishna was intoxicated at Mathura while splashing colors over Radha, but it was a drug greater than we humans can ever indulge in. Let Holi be the festival of sharing Joy and Love

So while Holi might or might not be declared as a dry day in your state, make the choices wisely.

Choose love - not alcohol. Be human.

3. Speed Thrills, But Kills: As the festive color from our faces fade away, so do several innocent intoxicated lives.
Every year around Holi, several youths are killed or seriously injured due to overspeeding accidents
While police forces and other organizations are stipulated to curb and regularize peace and order during such events, shouldn't it be our collective responsibility and decision to behave sensibly behind wheels?
A moment of recklessness or rashness can cause you or your dear ones the most precious gift - Life

Think
Do you want to paint yourself only in shades of blood-red?

Do not bereave us this Holi.

4. License to Molest: Holi gives an opportunity for many to bask in open obscenity and guilt free molestation.
Women experience a strange "freedom" in an otherwise restricted Indian society and tend to participate rather aggressively in the festive spirit, making them vulnerable and easier targets to eve-teasers.
There might be open vulgarity due to the phallic theme surrounding Holi's history and rituals.

Often strange practices of hooliganism are commonly observed.
The festival of colors is dubbed as an excuse to vent out the "latent heat" and indulge in physical relaxation.
While a blame game is futile and unnecessary here, getting physically comfortable needs to be entirely a personal choice.

A common call shall reach out to the hearts of the revelers to respect everyone's privacy instead of seeking cheap thrills in the name of merry making.

Your momentary pleasure or thrill
can cause long periods of distress and sadness to others.

Holi is here! Hold On your Testosterone fueled horses.

5. Bura Na Maano Holi Hai! (Don't be hurt, Its Holi!): Our ego fuelled anger is violent enough to cause turbulence to anyone who comes near.
While Holi celebrates love, color, festivity and virtues like "victory of Good over Evil", we seldom forget the hidden meanings, instead, we direct our energy towards settling grudges and controlling the world around.
Every year, during Holi petty issues and quarrels quickly escalate to heavy clashes among revelers - that use brawn over brain to resolve matters. "Colorful" street fights are a common scene.
The eternal quest to prove one's opinion as correct or superior than the other seldom triggers such war of words that often take an ugly form.

Let us embrace it out!
Give peace a chance.

This Holi, Let Go of Ego.

[Bonus] The Bholenath's Bhang: A story surrounding Holi revolves around the great Hindu God - Lord Shiva:
Shiva is known to devote many hours in solitude and deep meditation. Once, Madana - the God of love, decided to test his resolve and appeared in the form of a beautiful nymph. Shiva recognized Madana and became very angry. In a fit of rage, he shot fire out of his third eye and reduced her to ashes. This is sometimes given as the basis of Holi's bonfire.

Corollarily, to celebrate the blissful meditative states experienced by the great Shiva, people in many parts of India indulge in the usage of Bhang - an edible preparation of cannabis.
While Indian laws strictly prohibit the consumption and possession of cannabis, exceptions are made around the festival of color.
Laws are bent, recipes are passed around and a great collective tripping is witnessed!

Bhang Thandais's and Bhang Pakoras are prepared and sold all across inviting even first-timers to experience the unknown highs of life.
Such is the paradox of the Indian society!

A word of cautionhowever, comes from the doctors;
and from Shiva Himself:

[FridayFrame] Violent Innocence.

"Jat agitation creates mayhem in several areas of North India..."
The news anchor monotonously announced the headline of the day setting my heartbeat quiver.
"Several houses, dhabas (eating place) were savaged..."
The reporter continued.
My throat parched. Paranoia gripped me.
"This dhaba is all that I have! Oh God! What would happen to my kids? What is the cause of this violence? Why don't humans realise we have been bestowed enough to co-exist peacefully? WHY?"
Stealing a glance at the empty cash counter I whispered a silent prayer.
My sons innocently argued over their game of chess.

#Haiku04 : Shivani

Have you met a gypsy?

I have.

You'll know that moment when you meet one!

You're basking in her good vibes.
That familiar carefree movement - her arms swaying in a rhythmic motion, harmoniously sync with her lanky legs.
Vibrant colors dripping from her clothes paint the canvas of your imagination.
The carefree child-like voice leaves an eternal smile on your face while you watch her animated conversations.

You'll know.

A smile so enchanting!
You crave to fill your ears with her laughter.
Attracted to that beatific glow on her face, you are astonished how beautiful and easy it is to be a happy soul.
Before long, you start longing for her to stay.
And don't you start getting high on your own.
Wait for the gypsy to show you the way! Already!
For the gypsy opens her arms to let it all within and without.
Cusp your face and gently whispering to your ears:

But you are a free spirit, the one that must sway;
always looking for a chance to do your own;
to be your own person;
to have things done your own way;
Come dream the impossible dream!

She caresses your hair and embraces you with the sweetest goodbyes and fares you well.

You'll know - it would be your longest sigh!

This Haiku is dedicated to my favorite gypsy.

Happy Birthday :)

#Haiku02 : Three Little Birds.

There are moments in your life when your inner calling guides you to connect your music player, set it to shuffle mode, turn on, tune in and drop out!

This haiku comes from two unrelated tracks that my phone decided to play in succession one fine morning.
A smile decorated the moment when I started humming the lyrics and stared outside at the racing tall green coconut trees.

Haiku 02

Three Little Birds.

The Gypsy.

I am a gypsy. Look at me, what do you see?
Eternally embracing thy bright light,
guided by intuition be always right.
Fingers twirling at green glowing grass,
this sick society’s labeled to upper-lower class.
And all this painful pain be an illusion,
Won’t you defy thy delusional confusion?
Tell me why the fight o’er whose right.
Or wrong, all be in your head till you drop dead.
I am living, alive and breathing,
feeling His presence, I am unwinding.
Dizzy, dazed or confused, what may I be?
‘Coz I am a gypsy, look at me, I broke free

Let me walk till the very end,
And my soul to never ever bend.
To glow with pride, my mind mend to fight,
'Coz this world's a crazy stage.
Crazy mindset mummified with age,
Then why you look at me like this,
When my charisma chimes in eternal bliss.
Needs quenched by nature, my mother,
Earthy, watery, fiery, my brother.
Why do I go on with a look so forlorn,
To pretend or not, veiling mask before you ask.
You are a soul, complete and whole,
Peaceful and calm like the mighty tree.
Now, close your eyes as I count till three,
'Coz I am a gypsy, look at me, I broke free!

Everyone can venture everywhere, save your mind,
Open your heart, your intuition remains to find.
Not here, not there, He rests on your holy spine,
Connect thy inner eye, let Him shimmeringly shine!
Your body be a temple of the lord,
Won't you let him in peace, attuned at His accord.
The prayers have been answered,
What becomes of You, have you wondered?
Wounded, defeated, battered but not dead,
miles to walk and several stories etched in my head.
Gracious grass glides through my hand,
life slipping through like castles made of sand.
I fear nothing! supplicated under Thy reflection,
attuning my inner self for thee holy communication.
Young youthful forever be me,
Yes! I am a gypsy, my heart's been long set free.

Look at me, I am liberated, but how?
Sweet disposition, living loving now!
Fingers twirl at green glowing grass,
Growing gypsy defying classified class.
And every time my head flows like a Frisbee,
Feels like floating freely across the brim of thy loving sea.
Happiness a choice echoed my voice,
Counting stars and no more darn dollar,
All be bundles of boring printed papers,
Imagining my life to quench my inner will,
Awakened! Seeking divine love for voids to fill.
Mantra chants you must day and night,
Take your focus off the evil useless fight.
Going through ages, plundered and butchered,
All must end, will His love be returned?
Bholenath! You must count till three,
And set the gypsy inside finally free.

Mountains Calling!

Some say I am lost,
losing away youth to nothingness.
Some say I am a dreamer,
dreaming away life into wilderness.
To them I sing, not all who wander are lost,
The mountains are calling and I must go!

I am happy basking in the unknown,
wrapping my soul in mysticism.
Watch me climb another hillock,
as you dare to dream within costly chains of complacency.
Daughter of Gaia I am, blissfulness be my soul's sole purpose,
The mountains are calling and I must rise!

The sun soars in the east, hides to the west,
when was last you gazed nature at its best?
My home's an illustrated book, many doodles diving through,
and many miles to walk, before dreamy dying eyes watching without clue.
Not the killing, but disorder - the inner disorder we must do,
The mountains are calling, and I must fly!

Nothings wrong, nothings right,
everything resides in your mind.
Do I get to sing one last time,
before you decry another crime.
Every step you take becomes a mistake,
The mountains are calling, and I must escape!

Do I know myself or the one you taught,
with dime and dollars all but nature be bought.
You have a beautiful open mind,
only inner beauty be blissful joy.
And I no more cry crawling for desires,
The mountains are calling, and I must try!

Shutting my eyes to listen low,
prying open thy third eye to let flow.
Sleep walking wearily when I can fly,
to seize all from maya; the cosmic lie.
Watered enough the lotus now must bloom,
The mountains are inviting, and I must boom!

Pray thy prayer to thy preyer,
before time slips off to now or never.
Imbecile spineless sinners slyly grin along,
won't you help sing the last love song?
For united we rise, divided we must fall,
When the mountains call, I must go!

Life delicately designed of momentary moments,
gratitude be my only attitude.
Why worry when He knows it all,
Floating freely, answer thy inner call.
The mountains are singing, and I must dance!

Future flies fast, past passes faster,
this present moment to ever last.
Breathe His beauty connecting with the One,
I bow low front thy moon and the sun.
Entering ecstatically into the magical void,
The mountains called, and I enjoyed!

What becomes when thee finally floating free,
no thing be nothing, all men must die!
Then why cry breathing delusional illusion,
when this life be His immortal impression.
Forever finding true blissfulness, sat-chit-ananda!

The mountains are calling, and I am gone!

Rise!

It happened during one of my retrospective sojourns by the lake side. Glancing down at my reflection I pondered upon the age old conundrum, “Who Am I?”

I remember briefly closing my eyes. An unexplainable euphoric joy gripped me. White light flowing over the surface of lake, created intricate ripples all over!

A hollow voice echoed hence, “Rise my son! For what you seek, thy must turn inwards. Rely not on the physical eyes, the light shall enter through the third…

A reflection gleamed across the steps below, slowly dissociating amidst the ripples. I had risen!

Earth Day: What Are We Celebrating?

“I believe in God, only I spell it Nature."
-- Frank Lloyd Wright

Earth Day, celebrated annually on April 22, may be the one day that aims at transcending all boundaries of
culture, language, and tradition.

Let’s get crazy about EarthDay.

Let’s save the planet! Shall we?

The Pertaining Questions
As I blog this one from my office desk, seated comfortably from my air conditioned cubicle, surrounded by several grim-faced working class heroes, I wonder do we really require a special day to feel overjoyed for our planet?

Do we really need a day marked on the calendar to commemorate that one place where all of us belong?

Do we actually require a single day to feel that sudden urge of awareness and responsibility for taking measures to protect our Earth?

Don’t we have better things to worry about already? Can’t the Earth take care of itself?

Oh wait, I have to get back to that script I was creating. That’s what actually should matter to me for my sustenance. Isn’t it?

Who gives a damn about that pale blue dot anyway?

Not that I am a sadist, or against observing a single day when some of us, are overwhelmed with exuberance in showing how much we love and care for our mother Earth.

By the way, did you check out the doodle today?

Yes, for most of us, it is just another day. Meanwhile, my news feed is being flooded with several captivating articles and insights about this special day.

Be it Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, I surely have several thought-provoking articles to meditate on! And these posts do save the planet too. So does my blog postSo does the Earth Anthem.

"For 200 years we've been conquering nature. Now we're beating it to death."
-- Tom McMillan

About Earth Day
Scientists estimate the Earth’s age at over 4.5 billion years, but its Day has only existed for 46

Earth Day inspires all of us to appreciate our big blue and green orb with events big and small, ranging from family hiking trips to citywide recycling initiatives.

Originally conceived by peace activist John McConnell in 1969, Earth Day as we know it was established by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson a year later.

Concerned about humanity’s impact on the natural world, Nelson sought to raise public awareness of environmental issues by devoting a day to environmental events and education.

Since its inception, Earth Day has spread to nearly 200 countries, with millions of celebrants all around the world.

The Pertaining Issues
We human beings constitute the most successful species on Earth!

We thrive on every continent on the globe. We add one billion of ourselves, net gain, every 12 years. We expect to add at least three billion more of ourselves by mid-century and ever more after that.

From 7.1 billion in 2013, we could double to 14 billion by the end of this century.

Along the way, billions of us live in utter misery and starvation cycles. Over 10 million children and eight million adults starve to death annually or die of starvation related diseases. That doesn't deter our species from producing ever more of ourselves as we add that 80 million net gain annually.

Funny thing about Mother Nature, however, she brings a reckoning to all species who overshoot the carrying capacity of any finite land mass.

She kills without guilt, shame, temperance or concern. She kills slowly or quickly. A few or a few million! She kills without mercy or conscience.

And we think nature is fucked?

There are several core issues that can be identified and tackled at various levels.

Yes, we have been an audience to lengthy discussions and case studies. Many of us are well aware of potential threat(s) to our existence. The Internet is flooded with links, that meticulously highlight several threats to our existence.

I believe the biggest threat to human existence is humans themselves.

The Hopeless Helplessness
Several environmentalists think we humans have already crossed the point of no return - having hit the threshold and being completely unaware of it- tardily drifting towards a global catastrophic risk.

We simply go around with our daily routine, consuming mindlessly, blatantly ignoring warning signs, acting as if we have a plethora of resource to sustain human lineage to sprout on this holy planet, failing to correct ourselves, letting each of our corrupt acts bring more tears to the ailing mother Earth!

When/How will we understand?

It is not the Earth that needs us, the planet had and will survive even without humans thriving on it. It is us humans who are in a greater need to preserve and conserve the only home we have!

“Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.”-- Cree Indian proverb

The Impromptu Solution(s)

We often wonder what we can do, when the world seems to be spinning out of control.
Yet you're alive with a gift. You're here because you have a gift.

You're reading this because there is something inside you that knows it's time to Master that gift and bring it out to the world.
Where do you start?

Hence, the age-old question, How can I help?

A simple google search returns many interesting links on how making very simple changes to our daily routine, we can bring about a conscious change to our planet.

Here is a link, that lists 350 ways to save the world!

Or another giving 50 ways to help our planet.

Try watching a perfect documentary on Saving Planet Earth.

> Here is a quick list collating some simple practices you can inculcate consciously in your daily routine, that will sure contribute towards a healthy and happier planet Earth:

🌎 Swap out your light bulbs. Switch to CFLs.

🌎 Turn off the lights when walking out!

🌎 Plant a tree or three. Be a part of #TheGreenWaveChallenge (Visit the facebook page, if you're game!)

🌎 Go paperless. Paperless bills. Paperless writing. Refuse duplicate bill slips. Use the least amount of tissues (Carry a handkerchief, or two if u are a wet person!)

🌎 Go for nature walks. Go for a jungle trek. Only when you get really close to mother nature to appreciate its beauty and essence, will your inner self-guide your actions towards preserving the planet.

🌎 Drive the speed limit. This one may be the hardest one. Driving the speed limit increases your miles per gallon, in turn saving you bucks at the pump.

🌎 Carry your own water bottle. Reduce the amount of plastic water bottle waste in the world by carrying your own

🌎 Recycle at work. Most people do it at home, but there are a shocking number of offices and workplaces that don't recycle. Just think about the amount of wasted paper that could be recycled but instead is being thrown away with the trash!

Endless possibilities lay ahead us, our destiny is in our hands. Nature was and will be fine without us. It is we who need to understand our dependency on our fragile environment and the urgency to grow sensitive towards it.

Embrace the beauty of your surrounding. Feel the benign presence of the nurturing mother.

Understand, that we are one in this journey, that the Earth is our home, where it all started, and will end one day.
In the end, it is all about the choices we make.

“Sooner or later, we will have to recognize that the Earth has rights, too, to live without pollution. What mankind must know is that human beings cannot live without Mother Earth, but the planet can live without humans.”

-- Evo Morales

A Saucerful of Floyd.

Let There Be Pink!

If you don’t eat your meat,

how can you have your pudding?

His ubiquity was getting unmistakably conspicuous,
as nervous minutes ticked by!

I knew, paranoia, accompanied by indignant helplessness was lurking nearby to sweep underneath my sleeves, that slowly began to strangle me. A perfect setting for eeriness to establish its firm roots in the minds of those who overthink and tend to absorb the negativities around them.

The wrongly-timed blizzard outside had made it almost impossible for me to leave the bilking premises. I could risk sneaking underneath the cafeteria window, by frantically running down the emergency flight of stairs, surging towards the exit point.

However, the bleak possibility of landing to safety was severely outweighed by the numbness of my frigid limbs accompanied by the creamy physic induced anxiety and uneasiness.

The innocuous ubiquity of the crazy diamond couldn't be omitted from the equation, presently being outweighed by the possible presence of a diamond-eyed poltergeist.

I can ease your pain,

get you on your feet again!

Although everything around you seems mundanely familiar, it becomes increasingly operose to tame your complex-cognitive mind. I was at the epicentre of the near-perfect concoction of pure, paradisiac emotions along with a surge of tumultuous, chaotic thoughts.

I could sense moments slip by - each one of them liable for subtle psychological and physical transformations. Only if we allowed each juncture to shape as it was meant to be, our lives could be adorned with a deeper sense of awareness and understanding of one’s purpose of existence.

I was inexorably thirsty for the secret - the saucer full of undisclosed mysticism that vowed to be revealed only to the ears that turned up, tuned in and dropped out

Persuaded to be the witness of the esoteric revelation, I frantically started frisking through my disorganized stuff for my earphones…

Floyd In!

A Saucerful of Secrets is the second studio album by English rock group Pink Floyd. It was recorded at EMI's Abbey Road Studios on various dates from August 1967 to April 1968.

It is both the last Pink Floyd album on which Syd Barrett would appear and the only studio album in which all five band members contributed.

 A Saucerful of  Secrets.

***

It is imperative to notice that at this point of the night; the magic potion had successfully injected its divine effect on my neurotic system.

Its ramification was swift and very subtle. I could feel my senses go awry - the tip of my hands started to quiver at the slightest of noise being made in the surrounding, including my own sub-conscious breath.

It was becoming increasingly difficult to focus on relatively unimportant matters; instead, my brain chose to dive deeper into the realms of mysticism to unravel enigmas that chose to remain incognito.

I craved for MORE!

***

More is the first full-length soundtrack album, and third studio album, by the English rock band Pink Floyd, released on 13 June 1969 in the United Kingdom. More contains some acoustic folk ballads, a genre that appeared sparsely on later works.
This is Pink Floyd's first full album without founder member Syd Barrett, who was ousted from the group in early 1968 during the recording of their previous album. It is one of the two Pink Floyd albums to feature David Gilmour as the sole lead vocalist.

Main Theme

***

What is the first thought that comes to your head, synonymous with unfulfilled desires, your wildest fantasies, to be with the one you always wanted to be but never got a chance to be.

The ability to fantasize is a remarkable evolutionary adaptation. It allows us to create elaborate mental models of reality and play out our feelings and desires within them.

Through fantasy, our brains have provided us with a consequence-free space to gratify our desires, give our feelings expression, and to create and test alternate perspectives.

I absolutely adore working in the realms of fantasies.

Sex?

***

Ummagumma is a double album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd. It was released on 25 October 1969.
The album's title supposedly comes from Cambridge slang for sex. The studio album came as a result of Richard Wright wanting to make "real music.

Careful With That Axe Eugene

***

Sometimes there are no words.

And sometimes that’s exactly how it should be!

Is there anyone else out there who was very skeptical of this new album that's supposed to be coming out in November?

I can't even explain how excited I got when I first heard the announcement. Actually, it was a link to an article and the link said something like "David Gilmour's wife confirms a new Pink Floyd album is coming". I nearly shit my pants, vomited and blew a load all at the same time. True Story!

While, many felt that without an official band or management statement, specifically announcing 'the end of Pink Floyd' we had to conclude the band still existed – even if not active; meanwhile, debates have raged and heated arguments dragged on inconclusively around sources like Wikipedia about exactly when Pink Floyd became 'inactive' and 'ceased to exist' as a band by virtue of some immeasurable, undetermined, organic process.

When we consider all of this, it seems fitting that Pink Floyd lays these questions to rest in such an ethereal and halcyon manner on

The Endless River.

Side one starts with voices discussing why people argue, before someone mutters, “The sum is greater than the parts”, and a deep boom gives way to the slow fade-up of scintillating synthesizers. David Gilmour uses an E-Bow on his guitar on this side, which makes it sound at times like it has been taped and played backwards and at others gives it a pleasing hum and buzz. It’s light-touch stuff, very pretty.

This is not to say that the music on The Endless River is mellow (some is) but to say that as a listener, from the beginning to the end of the album you sense you are on a mission, heading toward a final destination: one that is at peace with finality as the journey approaches denouement in the lyrics of Louder Than Words.

***

This album is definitely for the unquenchable thirst of all the Floyd fanatics, who have emotively been annexed with the group throughout their long and glorious walk to eternity.

With only three members of the original lineup alive, and only two musically contributing to this album, it is a must have for the compulsive ears that go comfortably numb on that one magical note from the maestro’s guitar!

Goosebumps, after each track unveils and fades out to the next, reminiscent of the good old Floyd era, that once again promises to etch an ever lasting impression on the Floyd-heads.

My brain pulsated, as I tuned in my earphones for the one last time. . .

The journey is beautiful when you are in a quandary about the limitless horizon – nebulous, yet tempting!

You muster courage and decide to plunge into the river, ride the final high tide, before taking the last bow to eternity. All the precognitive knowledge fails; so does the antecedent wisdom.

You lay still, submissive, yet alert to the flowing musical tides, as you allow the prism bearers to stride you to the other side.

A salty drop trickled down my pale cheeks, as I lay exhausted with my hands cupped against my puckered eyelids.

All my esoteric emotions gave away to a compulsive liquid state, as more tears gushed out from the corner of my eyes,

Submerging into the . . .
