"It’s happening! Come with me at once!"
Laxmi was brimming with exuberance as she pulled her mother and father away from the arid field. She raced ahead, swiftly navigating her way through the narrow paths and sat among the lush green bushes. Her parents visibly perplexed joined her moments later.
"So, what did you 'invent' this time?" Her father quipped.
"Didn't I tell you, good days are about to come? Watch what happens when I press this switch!"
Awestruck, the trio sat there grinning, as water gushing out from the dried tube well, mouth washed away their worries. Forever!
